Slowcore HQ

Super-active and exciting day on FC. Got 30+ browser tabs open for convos I want to read later when I can give them my full attention. That's just from the last 8 hours or so.

I love this place so so much. I'm all-in Farcaster. But as a slow-paced reader (and owner of /slowcore-hq), I'll probably narrow my scope and unfollow some accounts soon. Need to respect the limits of my attention so I can read things that aren't casts, and write things that can (hopefully) help the FC ecosystem thrive for the long term. 

(Also, my notifs blew up today for some reason. Lots of thoughtful casts I want to respond to in more depth. Might take awhile for me to get to them, but I will. Eventually). 💜

Yes. Keeping up with degen enough to tip responsibly required significant cognitive bandwidth, time, and attention. 

Glad I was able to help distribute tokens to support writers + artists in my own small way, but I'm also relieved to be free of that responsibility now.

I put in my service time as a tipper. Didn't miss a single day of degen tipping for 4 months, even when my allowance was miniscule. 

Excited to devote that freed-up time and effort to Moxie.
