Hey July folks: what is your most referenced frame of thought? As in, what do you reference the most frequently either in your own thinking or in your discussions with other people For me, deterministic vs probabilistic thinking and how both exist in many circumstances, but only one is responsible for outcomes

for me, it’s situational vs dispositional. In my youth, i would always think about others disposition, esp while driving. Would start cursing them out and lead to me getting enraged lol. When i get cut off now, i imagine them having to rush to help a friend or family member in need πŸ˜…

Yes, very similar to what I do: β€œWow, that seems crazy. What would make me do that?” If I’m bold enough to think back to when I’ve done β€œthat” (say, driving fast), it’s usually a pretty weak reason. πŸ˜…
