Can't stand that guy... I still listen to All In but cringe every moment his mouth opens. Dude got rich by hanging around people who actually built real companies & getting an early stake. Good for him and all, but he has no hands on exp on how to build a business (outside of podcasting) nor where tech is headed.

Your house, your rules. When your are/were in their house, you respected that. They have to respect the same in yours. Their boomer ways don't work in how your raising your kids. Remind them of the countless other boomer things that don't work like lawn darts. So respect your rules or visit at a different time.

From here start talking to your kiddo. Say anything, sing songs, beatbox. Doesn't matter. They will think it's amazing and it might lead to them to say something back to you sooner than you think. Then keep a list of their first 100 words. You'll be shocked at how they compile and what they are.

But what L2? Op has the lead for the moment but back in Q2 you could say Arb did. And before that maybe Polygon? But what about Mantle w it's massive treasury? And soon we will have the various zk L2s coming to mainnet. There's a winning bet in there for sure. But instead of guessing, I'll park my money in other places

I hope they do honestly. This isn't me rooting against them. It's simply me saying my past experience tells me I shouldn't risk my capital on $OP versus what I deem as a safer bet w $SOL.

That might have been the myth in the 90s but not how it works in reality. Google has 250k+ people and infinite resources. I've been an exec recruiter now for almost a decade and it's rare that I see people go from 15+ yrs at Google to being effective at a sub 100 person startup.

Wait... I get it now... The current treasury is decreasing as the fork treasury is increasing. So if 504 Nouns leave, then the main Treasury would be drained of another 9,636E leaving 8,242E remaining. Obviously not ideal, but at least solvent and a DAO can (potentially) still do a lot w ~$12M.

So if 504 Nouns fork, then that would be 17,892E leaving, correct? But there's only 17,878E in the treasury. How's that going to work? Does the treasury start getting divided up proportionally?

Understood on staying true to the ethos of decentralization but as a new member of the community it seems like Nouns needs leadership at the moment. As leadership requires strong lines of comms, how do you overcome this issue? Now would seem like a great time to invest in ways to foster dialogue, no?
