every project needs a funding strategy for existential infra they don't maintain (eg. ethereum L1) this competitive differentiator signals to users & builders: we're here longterm, we care about our foundations closing the loop _cannot_ be an afterthought - DM to jam on this!

couldn't agree more. in little ways and in big ways. for eg, that's exactly why I try to remember to set the protocol guild to get a 50% split of all of my little silly onchain experiments example: https://zora.co/collect/zora:0xbe4f93905ddb29278a9e938a33ebe86142078cb3/5?referrer=0xe992300e278BCf5bC21aD35c938D9eDE071D616e it's easy, takes 2 seconds. Should also be the default behaviour for all those corporate entities that use open source libs (and why a donation address on each repo - with @splits for contribs - would be a good idea)
