The principle of altered perception based on Kant's concept of noumenal is a philosophical idea that questions the nature of reality and our perception of it.

According to Kant, the noumenal (or "noumenon" in greek) refers to the thing in itself, independently of our perception or understanding of it. In other words, the noumenal is objective reality, as it exists in itself, without being influenced by our senses, our mind or our culture.
