"I wish I could watch this 30+ minute video on Farcaster" 1. The work required to make video play in the background, not lose your spot, chapter markers, etc. is significant! 2. Farcaster doesn't penalize links in the algo -- so easy to link to a YouTube video (which has a boatload of nice features like automatic transcription, clipping, link to timestamp, download offline, watchlists, etc.) 3. Short videos in-feed, long videos in the better tools Similar to long cast vs. posting on @paragraph

I feel like videos have had a hard time gaining traction even back to the X days. Unless a platform pushes for it *cough IG* it messes with peoples scrolling rhythm 😆
