It's important to me that other people can see that I dislike certain content, and I want my client to know what the peers in my social graph are disliking as well so they can automatically be filtered. People also need to know when their posts are not appreciated. Negative feedback is how we get real social norms.

Just tell them in a comment what you didnt like about the cast and open a constructive convo A dislike button will only give an incomplete negative feedback AND will probably affect negatively casts in the algorithm, which im sure people will use to fuck up people they dont like

Telling spammers or trolls that they're spamming or trolling isn't really going to improve anything. When there's no mechanism for providing negative feedback, then everyone is encouraged to just be as noisy as possible all the time. This is why Twitter and other positive-only networks seem so noisy and chaotic.

With subjective negative feedback, then they only need to be muted once by someone in your social graph. It scales better than spending all day muting literally hundreds of accounts in your feed, all of which are back with new accounts tomorrow.
