How would you feel if everyone had the same allowance and it would refresh only once a week? This is the proposal that has been made to change the system in order to eliminate attention seeking behavior Degen should be used to incentives good content but lately it has been burried by engagement farming

I agree with all of this. The flatter curve makes sense a lot. Maybe we need to have more explicit guidelines on how to get the power badge. That will translate to more people creating better content, engagement, and interaction, rather than using the tips to farm the engagement.

I think the idea is good itself, except of giving allocations only to people with power badges. As there are lot of creator who creates good content and don't have power badge yet 🧐

more or less ok with it 🌼 (is there any official info on the 40% cut today or are we all just playing a guessing game? It's confusing because the last time we had a 40% cut was a few days ago and the next morning it went to 98degen allo for everyone. It was a glitch and they fixed it. Today is different?)

I think that instead of re-inventing the wheel one more time it would be interesting to look at post mortem of other projects with similar incentives. Crypto Reddit and Moons is one of the many that comes to mind. I didn't read the proposal yet but curious to see how it scales with stale/farming accounts.

I love this idea, it levels the playing field which we want if we're going to continue to attract new peeps to the platform. As side benefit is that it also removes grinding from the equation - people are more likely to take appropriate amounts of rest if they don't fear their empire crumbling while they sleep lol

Don’t think it would matter to me I would still tip artists I find who post art via my posts and various channels. Only thing that would chang would be the amount tipped based on weekly allocation
