Noticed confusion about the 300% APY from @woj.eth – it was for comparison only. While some form tip rings, farming DEGEN this way isn’t ideal. Attracting followers, driving traffic, or building something valuable with your tips offers more benefits. Reward meaningful contributions and grow the community!

I still believe this should be punshied. I dont give a fuck they locked funds. They dont deserve an allowance Its an insult to anyone who plays fair (and even more to those who would play fair but CANT lock) Put it to the votes, let the community decide if this should be banned or not

Tip allowances have become very PvP, so the question now is how we can make them more positive-sum. Banning hasn’t really worked, so what game mechanics could encourage more community effort and less solo play?

Hasnt worked cause we had to ban at scale Big bad actors are easily detectable now.. If this doenst get stopped one way or another everyone will do the same, tip themselves, dump at every claim and bring the token to 0.000000001

I believe we have clear rules that this kind of behavior is not okay. If it is accepted by community I’ll do it too to dilute others allocations or sell my tokens because I will not feed a farmer. Tipping content from friends, growing you reach etc is okayish - not as good as tipping newcomers, contributors to $degen - but openly doing tip for tip, tip circles is not what I’m here for to support. In this case it’s 100% better to burn the remaining tokens and stop giving value away.

Brother how are you going to differentiate? This was happening before the locking mechanism came into existence. People all ready got away with it before hence they are encouraged to do it now. And as @jacek said bans don’t really work changing the mechanism to filter out the bad players automatically would help, just like last season i know people who are here only here to claim and dump at end of season were absent coz open rank and your credibility played a major role in getting you an allowance and they didn’t get major allowance coz they couldn’t game the likes and engagements this time. Thats just my opinion i may be wrong too.
