One of the best pieces of advice I can give is that you should never fully divest from this space - that is, you should always leave some cash in to have some skin in the game

You'll pay far more attention and be way more involved vs. if you ever fully cash out

This will ensure you catch opportunities that you otherwise would have surely missed

It's okay to step away, ofc, but this place rewards people who hang around during hard times

You can also turn a couple hundred bucks into millions. If you decide to sell and off-ramp most of your portfolio you can build it back from nothing in a roaring market. 

The point being that in order to know when it’s time to put in the work you should be logging in frequently through bear and bull.
