The Owlets just left the nest! They can't fly yet, but they can climb trees! We spotted two of the three babies tonight. This one was way up in a pine tree. I have no idea how those little fluffballs can climb so high!

Barred owls are the most common ones I see here on the BC coast. They are super cool.

Yes, Barred Owls are fairly common here in MN. Still super hard to spot though since they're so well camouflaged.
