In general, in my opinion, KYC in the crypto space is not really a concern about taxes (taxes are the personal responsibility of each person depending on your citizenship), but a retarded division of people into first and second class.

If you are told about openness and inclusivity, publicly available tools, and then asked to go through the KYC procedure - they are trying to screw you.
