how do professional athletes recover from injuries so quickly?

i went from unable to walk to becoming national triple champion in 5 months

at the beginning of this year i had surgery after injuring my quad

after 6 weeks of complete rest i went to an 'intensive rehab centre' where i basically lived for weeks at a time 

i had a daily timetable of strengthening exercises, physio sessions, sports psychology and testing

in this time i also started to research and learn about recovery

things like optimising my sleep, diet and exercises to recover fast and well

this is also partly what has inspired me to start the personal training course to share with other what i have learnt!  ( 50% through my level 2 getting there)

It definitely was a journey and she has shared this with us a couple of times.

Idk about you but this just tells me to appreciate my health journey more. No matter the situation🤍
