Not sure how burgers think about China, aside from geopolitics/humanitarian angle. 

But the tech there is WILDDDD. I sat in a relative’s EV car (Nio) and he proceeded to do a fully automated battery swap. Park > initiate swap > ??? > new battery.

I visit every year, since the age of 5. So I get it for sure. Payments is another insanely advanced infra compared to every other country I’ve visited. 

But it’s hard to ignore the bad side of tech (privacy invasive, censorship etc). I’m always very torn.
