Blockchain scalability is key to mainstream adoption. Layer 2 solutions like Lightning Network and state channels reduce transaction load. Sharding, seen in Ethereum 2.0, splits the network. Rollups bundle transactions off-chain. Each has pros: faster, cheaper, more secure. But tradeoffs exist—complexity, security risks, decentralization. Pick wisely for the future.
