hmm I think people assuming they can find someone that matches their perfect desires is another face of consumerism that has engrained into society

yes of course 

life is filled with wonderful and unique moments 

I guess in the context of relationships one might call it "fate"

but i also think fate is a human concept, it's not a tangible science

the factors that once decided our "fate" were more natural. now it's algorithms created by some nerds like sam altman 

so more effort is required in finding "a right one" rather than "stumbling into the right one"
