My father got Covid and while it was destroying his lungs he prioritized his work and was seen up on his laptop getting work done until he was intubated and placed in a medical coma. 

He died a month later. 

The work still remained, yet he did not. 

I promise you, nothing is more important than your health. Your work will persist long after you go. 

To me, it’s not a flex to put your work above yourself. It is a meaningless sacrifice that does not reward you if you kick the bucket.
