When I read that William Anders, of Apollo 8 fame, had just died in a plane crash at the age of 90, I assumed he was being flown around as a pax. Turns out he was the pilot, flying a single-prop Beechcraft T-34 Mentor. No one else was hurt in the accident. All in all, not a bad way to go if you think about it

Honestly, it's how I'd like to go once I hit 90+. Hopefully people will still let me fly planes at that age!
