It seems like every blockchain and every leader in crypto is seeking new use cases and everyone wants to sign the project that is going to onboard the next trillion dollars.  

This is for the good; however, the new use case, and the new project that is going to do it, will likely look very different from the previous projects and the current body of crypto use cases.  

This will be risky, and even scary, for certain blockchains.
