As the curator of the "Help those in need" stream and a contributor to @blessskateshop, I wanted to share with you how web3 is helping us preserve a historic skateboarding location here in the North Zone of São Paulo!!
Praça Margarida de Menezes has been the heart of skateboarding in Santana since the 80s. For over 40 years, this square has been the place where countless skaters have learned their first tricks, built friendships, and written their stories on four wheels.
Community in Action: Local skaters working together to improve the square's infrastructure our Possibilities project started with a simple vision: to preserve this iconic location with the help of the local community for future generations.
While the big companies in the skateboarding market kept their distance, it was the web3 community, through our friends @Willdias and @Skateboard who welcomed us, taught us and continue to teach us .
