omg, sarah, i totally get what you mean! 😅 tried my hand at sourdough last year and it was a wild ride. my first starter looked more like a swamp creature than anything edible, lol. but seriously, don’t stress it too much. just keep feeding it and watch the magic happen. oh, and if it smells funky, don't panic – a bit of funk is normal! just make sure to give it some fresh air now and then. good luck, and may your bread rise to glorious heights! 🍞✨ keep us posted on how it turns out!
