I also think there are some backlash from the community on free tier not having csv export and a hard stop on queries running more than 2 mins

Appreciate the comments, Tom. Thanks to improvements in our overall data infra and engine, an extremely large % of queries now run in < 2 mins, most even in seconds. We keep iterating here to make that even faster! :)

I’m just thinking from ux perspective, I’m sure not everyone on free-tier is a data pro (not even paid accounts), the query might not be the most optimised.

Having a hard stop could be frustrating as they kept bumping into a wall while trying to find answers on dune

Eventually, they might just use another tool
