celeb coins might be how normies will be onboarded into crypto

they would rather buy into something they know and admire than some random coin or new app that gives you tokens because you do 10k steps per day

those coins might be a way to get in users, but that is not how onboarding should look; it just damages the crypto reputation even worse than it was with nfts last cycle

with this, crypto will keep to its short-term speculative cycles. this is not what will make crypto go mainstream, tho its values would only make sense for a few 

but this might be the game their audience wants to play, have fun with, and be the exit liquidity for real traders
