need-to-vent --> I setup this channel after seeing a few projects, DAOs & individuals not raising their real issues before it's too late! Let's instead have a place to honestly cast out any inner demons in a fun way.. whilst potentially opening up hard discussions before they boil over?? Examples and more below....

It's been proven that we easily get biased and 'group-think' when what we say is linked to a public profile. This is especially problematic when in crypto we all engage remotely giving few 'dark corners' to have honest discussions Some examples of this boiling over that I've seen across the industry ....

e.g. 1) a DAO leader telling me no one wanted to vote out another 'guild-lead' as they had a large and devoted following on crypto twitter 2) a DeFi employee who can't push back on a project's direction due to the rampant politics and decentralisation debates it would create !! ...

3) a retroactive grant proposal that I was told was distributed - not due to it's impact - but people wanting to be seen supporting an endearing personality 4) a junior DAO members cozying up to large token holders and their proposal despite

There are many more... but I think there are solutions: 1) safe spaces to vent on minor issues without any judgment of the public profile 2) anonymity to allow people to share on major, controversial issues (i.e. where judgement is inevitable)

This is why in this channel's norms and bios I've tried to emphasise the former and latter (thanks to @33bits for the anonymity part πŸ™ ) let's see what happens πŸ‘€
