Chrome is disabling uBlock Origin because manifest v2 extensions are getting purged. You have a couple options, switch to uBlock Origin Lite, or the better option, is take the time to finally update to Brave! https://www.pcmag.com/news/googles-chrome-browser-starts-disabling-ublock-origin

I wasn't aware it will still work with Brave, since it's based on chromium. There's another option you didn't mention, which is to switch to Firefox.
