zoomers won’t be in office until at least 80 years from now if we continue at the same rate of older generations monopolizing positions of power long past their best-by dates

I think the pendulum will swing, and a 45 year old will be elected president in 2028. They'll still be out of touch and incompetent, but at least they'll be young.

meant to add *if we even make it that far as a country with the same political system I dunno tho, we’ve had plenty of opportunities to try to find younger people and the boomers all but ensure it doesn’t happen A lot of young people don’t want to touch any of it anyway, and rightfully so, it's all so corrupt
