$RARE and protocol contracts will soon be on @base. This is exciting for a number of reasons. Layer 2s are changing the game. They provide a superior level of convince with acceptable security trade offs. Low cost mints are the number one NFT use case on L2s right now but what I’m excited about is layer 2 auction mechanics with layer 1 assets. We’re exploring this with chainlink's CCIP. Cheap fast auctions for onchain summer. L2 UX with L1 security.

Does this mean artists will be able to use an L2 to mint on SR? Also, any chance of other L2s getting support?
