Spam filtering is coming to Warpcast. 

Over the last 3 months, we've labelled thousands of spammy accounts by hand and @akshaan has carefully trained an ML model to do this automatically. 

We're rolling out this model starting today, and it will significantly improve the user experience.

Is there a plan for how to handle false positives? I'm always worried about being labeled as a spam account because of one stupid comment someone didn't like.

I understand that, but the system is still bound to falsely label some people as "spammy" from time to time. What's the process going to be for getting out of what will effectively be a shadowban?

the model mostly looks at message content and location to determine spam. 

if you make a cast that annoys one person, that's not really spam. 

if you make the same cast asking people to follow you in 5 high traffic channels, you'll get the spam label.
