i just send them to ppl who do things i appreciate jokes that make me laugh, cool frames, helpful resources. if new friend joins i like to tip, give em positive reinforcement. stuff like that no need to tell everyone “i got xxx degen to tip today.” just give it out as u see fit

That makes me think and I'd like your thoughts on it. Let's say someone has an allocation for the day but not the time to actively browse a lot. Should they 'waste' the allocation? Or would it be fine to seek replies through casts like "xx degen to give out" AS LONG (!) as they don't require crap like follow me etc

Because I think 'wasting' the allocation is truly a waste, no? If someone posts something genuinely informative, funny or w/e under such a "seeking cast" - that'd be good, no?

Perhaps we should create an etiquette for these "seeker" posts? No giveaway stuff, no asking for followers AND stating what they're seeking? "Post something funny or informative, I still have allocation to give out" (very plump, but you get the idea)

I don’t think there is anything wrong with this. Just go to the appropriate channels. I did this today in /paidgroup looking to support art. People nominate themselves or others and I tip. No follow is required or anything.

Yea but what if you just want some genuine interaction in replyguys or degen while having allocation left but not the time to seek tip worthy content? Using paidgroup for all these use-cases is not ideal too, no?

Then have a genuine interaction without dangling the carrot. Talk about something you like. Genuinely reply to someone.
