In about 5 hours from now, we will be hosting our 1000th consecutive daily episode of The Noun O’ Clock LIVE Show over on X. As we announced earlier this year, this will be our final episode of the show after 3 years of hosting it daily. ⌐◨-◨ We’ve commissioned the talented @ilustradora.eth to create a beautiful commemorative free mint edition to mark the occasion, depicting our beloved NOC mascot Nouny Clock relaxing on he beach and enjoying his hard-earned retirement. That tonight’s show is in the middle of the night here in EST timezone is fitting really, because part of the lore of NOC is that back in June of 2022, we committed to doing this public voice hangout for the Nouns community every single day at “Noun O’ Clock”, which is the moment every day when the daily auction ends. But because the process of settling the auction can take some time, this 24H auction actually drifts by a little bit every day. That means that from the get-go, we’ve been chasing this moment around the clock, with no one show at the same time as the last. Since our first show on June 13th 2022, we have showed up every single day to watch the auction together and shoot the breeze about all things nouns… and to do this we have gone around the 24H clock at least 6 or 7 times, hosting shows at all hours of the day and night. This generational run has truly been a labor of love, and we never could have done it without a solid team of people who deeply loved nouns and wanted to help create a daily touch point for this community. Over the past three years, so many people have helped to make Noun O’ Clock a mainstay of nouns and I couldn’t possibly name them all here, but I do want to say thank you to the tight-knit core of NOC who made this feat of consistency possible: @robotfishgirl, @brettdrawsstuff, @symbiotech, @santhosh2705, @benbodhi + @joshuafisher.eth, @nounishprof, @supertightwoody Thanks to @142 for kicking this off with me. @4156 for inspiring the show in the first place...

@seneca for supporting in many ways, @noun70 for always giving love and helping with fomo troubleshooting. @jessepollak for always saying kind words about the show, @supriyo.eth for collabing on nouns movie premieres, @sasquatch and @nounsesports for always being down to jam on things. @netnose for attending so many shows. And just everyone in the nouniverse who has ever come to a show or collaborated with us on something - Thank you! Though NOC started as a simple daily show, we have pretty much constantly been in the arena trying things since the beginning. The NOC Show gave rise to The Noun Square, and under that banner we have done a lot to proliferate the meme of nouns. We have onboarded thousands of artists to nouns through our frequent art contests over the years, a legacy that has and will continue to live on through The /yellow Collective — an onchain culture club we founded last year to support and empower onchain creators and artists of all kinds.
