One Week of @betrmint: A Recap Today marks 1 full week of running BETRMINT rounds (time flies when you’re having fun!), so I wanted to take a moment to reflect, share metrics, & talk about how the experiment is going so far. Overall, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from all sides — players say the game is sticky, aesthetic, & fun; creators have been thrilled to see their content amplified & make meaningful onchain revenue; and token partners are loving the eyeballs, hype & distribution. A rare win-win-win-win arrangement? Cracking open the mini app dev dashboard, here’s what we’ve seen after just 7 days: - 2,100 new followers on @betrmint (starting from 0!) - 4,954 unique users, with 4,501 adding the mini app + nearly all enabling notifications - Over 36K (!!) app opens across just 4 rounds - 2,735 transactions in ETH or USDC on @base - 5,693 total mints for our featured creators (@rachelw, @gmfarcaster and @0xl) - Over 1 ETH earned in creator rewards via @pods [cont below…]

If I had to pick one thing I’m most proud of, it’s this: We’ve been able to generate real, meaningful onchain revenue for creators. That’s not easy to do in this space (I should know) and it’s the heart of why @netnose and I started @betrmint in the first place. We also inked our first longer-term partnership this week — a three-way agreement between BETRMINT, @rachelw, and $VEIL token: For the next 8 Mondays, Rachel’s podcast episodes will debut onchain via BETRMINT, boosted with a share of $10,000 worth of $VEIL contributed by @apex777.eth (Who says no real business gets done at Farcon?) Cementing more partnerships like this — where token projects feature their tokens in BETRMINT rounds — will be the key bottleneck to solve for scaling (+ finding great creators who want to feature content.) That said, I think the value proposition is pretty strong: Many memecoins and protocols have treasury tokens from LP rewards or allocations. By partnering with BETRMINT, they can Midas touch their tokens — extracting real value in the form of attention, community growth, and distribution without having to sell into the open market and hurt their ecosystems. Anecdotally, our first featured token $RUNNER ran up ~30% on the day it was featured (thank you @darkoh.eth.) Yesterday, $VEIL rose ~5% and topped @tomu’s Farcaster mind share leaderboard.
