In my family, NYE has always been a time to reflect & give thanks, so today I’m feeling grateful for all the onchain people who have affected my life for the better in 2024. An incomplete list (in no particular order): 🔵 @jessepollak for supporting the /yellow collective from day 1, guesting on ZEROPOD + just constantly supporting me and others as based builders. Basecamp also rocked. 🔷 The entire @base team, especiallly @aneri, @statuette & @drewcoffman.eth for supporting/amplifying our Yellow art drops + our ZEROPOD video content all year long. 🥛 @seneca for building @rounds, which /yellow used extensively as the main faucet to reward artists and creators with over 50 ETH in funding this year. 2/6 🟡 My Yellow Collective cofounders who have helped us to grow such a strong organic, farcaster-first community of onchain artists and creators. We have been able to raise over 100 ETH this year via the auction and mint proceeds, and have paid 60 ETH of that out already to various artists and creators in the space through contests, collaborations and commissions. 4/6 ⚫️ @slokh for permissionlessly building @anoncast (and the soon-to-be-dropped @anonworld), which I’ve had so much fun playing with over the past 6 weeks and has reinvigorated my passion for some of the cypherphunk ideals that drew me to this space in the first place. 5/6 🌱 @levy from Mint Pod and the team at /blueprint for selecting me as one of the 10 creators for cohort two of their content accelerator. Although we are only 3 weeks into the 10-week program, I’ve already learned so much and can’t wait to go into 2025 armed with this new knowledge and take ZEROPOD to the next level. People like Adam who figure out game-changing onchain distribution strategies and share them with their peers instead of gate-keeping them should be celebrated. ⌐◨-◨ the grassroots nounish community that has continued to support /thenounsquare’s growth and evolution in 2024. 6/6 Even with this long-ass thread, I’ve still surely forgotten some people who have impacted my year for the better, so to those inevitable folks I’m sorry.
