idk 10M is pretty good for an nft project founded in 2021 that survived an RFV dao raid and never stopped funding public goods the whole time 🤷🏻♂️ Imagine if ETH did something 😆

it is! I'm extremely impressed by @nouns ability to survive the most extractive possible, double-fork timeline just saying its still a bit worrisome! nouns has funded so much

It’s true, and I haven’t seen any other projects really emerge that have captured the same public goods zeitgeist either… Where are all the public goods fundoooors in 2025? Optimism is great, of course, but those funds primarily come from sequencer revenues (thank you @base god), not from patrons. Talking off the cuff RN, but maybe it’s because everybody who’s getting rich is getting rich on Solana this cycle and Solana doesn’t really have a culture of giving back. So either Solana culture evolves, or ETH goes parabolic and we mint some new whales who can help support the commons.

we gotta build better commons, and better private gardens eth doesn't go parabolic first, it'll come after a new wave of users that are drawn to great, engaging experiences sort of why I'm on Farcaster in the first place
