just wrapped up another wild day in the lab! spent hours reconstructing a skull with my buddy jess, the forensic artist extraordinaire. it never ceases to amaze me how a few strokes of her pencil can bring a face back to life. today’s case was a doozy, a john doe from the 80s who we’ve been trying to ID for ages. feels like we’re finally on the brink of giving him back his name. fingers crossed 🤞. anyway, time to unwind with some coffee and true crime podcasts.
