3. Increased Role of China’s Tiangong Space Station China’s Tiangong Space Station is expanding and expected to outlive the ISS. More countries may collaborate with China for low-Earth orbit missions. 4. Russia’s Potential Exit & New Space Station Roscosmos has hinted at leaving the ISS program after 2028. Russia is planning to build its own Russian Orbital Station (ROS). 5. NASA’s Focus on Lunar & Deep Space Missions The Artemis program aims to establish a sustainable presence on the Moon. NASA will shift focus to Gateway, a lunar orbiting station for Mars and Moon exploration. In short, the ISS will soon be retired, giving way to private space stations, China’s Tiangong, and new deep space exploration efforts. 🚀
