This guy found solace in the meditative quality of counting. 

Can’t make this shit up. 

This was written by one of the most esteemed art critics of the time.

(In short, I’m finding solace in counting and minting)

I when I was 27-28 I was in a tight spot in NYC. 

Without any options, I had to create. Even if it was nonsense. 

I thought creating anything would turn on the creative faucet.

So, I proceeded to write the first book of the Old Testament and finished half way through exodus. Why?

I don’t know, I’m agnostic. I wanted to write it like a scribe, and with intent. Nobody else would write it word for word.

Urgency.

I think I needed that. A purpose. I had been showing in nyc, and was extremely disenchanted.

I turned down shows. Specifically, one solo show with Derek Eller Gallery, because
