I was musing earlier today about how all the tools (v0, Claude Artifacts, Replit) for quickly building apps with LLMs are focused on the web. But what about native mobile apps? So I spent my day off building an MVP of the solution. ASI (Artificial Snack Intelligence) has been achieved internally.

- Now I can generate more complex React Native apps. - UI is polished a little bit so that we can see what files have changed. - Errors can now be fixed with AI in a single button click.

it's intended as standalone tool or integrates with my IDE? can i use npx ai-digest to bring my own codebase or connect a git repo?

- I have no strong intentions per se, I have some days off and decided to play with it. - Thanks for the ai-digest alpha, never seen it before. - Standalone (as-is) is easiest to achieve so that’s what I’m continuing. - However, I’m curious, what parts of the tool would you then want to keep vs the option to use an external IDE?

Connecting to GitHub seems relatively easy/low-hanging, so I lean towards it.

I currently like how claude pro works. i prompt the AI with my codebase attached and maybe I also copy paste some docs / readme files and use that as knowledge base. From there I get artifacts that show all files that are changed and I copy and paste these to run them and then provide feedback to the AI again. What I love here is that I get a preview and don't need to copy / paste so I can iterate further before going back to my IDE
