more founders should burn their own money / be resourceful with grants and revenue BEFORE raising any / big funds β€” believe this ACTUALLY increases your chance of 'success'. when you're bootstrapping, you tend to be way more scrappy and resourceful β€” simply because you have no other choice. don't ask investors to sponsor your idea maze β€” sponsor it yourself and pitch when you're ready. even better β€” attract, don't chase. the way you attract is by being resourceful and building great product people want. as the saying goes, BE SO GOOD THEY CAN'T IGNORE YOU.
