I don’t like people shitting on friend tech without providing a better crypto consumer alternative 

- it does something unique
- it has users
- it’s making money
what’s a better crypto consumer product? is it perfect? no but it’s doing something that clearly some people are resonating with

OK, but a lot of crypto and decentralization tech is based on activism. Many people intentionally earn much less or have less users to build systems that they believe in or to explore alternatives to the fiat economy. friend tech clearly had success, undoubtably, but I value other things than what they aim for.

not necessarily. I didn‘t have a real job since 2018 and I‘m still here and I’m maintaining a good enough lifestyle so that I can continue pushing decentralization. I have to take a lot of care and I could have definitely be richer, but I feel like I had some meaningful influence, so I‘m happy overall.

but earning less and having less users == death
