At first I just wanted to make my first app on the Apple Vision Pro. Now I’m fully leveraging AI and using it as my coding assistant and co-founder. The timing just works and it feels like an obvious path to success.

Making progress on my AVP app. Tried out PencilKit and successfully tested it on the device, great start. Reset and asked Gemini to help build it and the outcome was actually simple and delightful. Now I’m trying out Claude, uploaded some Vision dev doc PDFs. Will share progress and build in public more.

Is there a hud for AVP? It would be cool to see an app made for that purpose. I guess that’s more of a feature meant for Vision Air. Apple Watch complications for your face! There is no activity rings to be found as of now…

So I did a little Procreate in the Vision! Turns out you can connect your MacBook to AVP and then mirror from iPad to the MacBook. The pencil works, a bit of a delay, but cool experience.
