If there is any old movie in 2024 that I regret meeting late and can't resist watching again after watching it once, it must be Francis Coppola's Apocalypse Now. This movie is full of gunfire, chaos, and death, yet it has the language of poetry. In Coppola's movies, the Godfather must be a classic among classics, leaving a lasting impression on history, but the evaluation of modern Revelation is polarized. People who like it are crazy about it, while those who don't like it feel drowsy and find it tedious and mysterious. And my evaluation is that it is an absolute masterpiece, and this is definitely the three hours you spent the most.
