Base wanted to compete with Solana, and, for a brief moment seemed to be able to, but as Coinbase failed to bring any liquidity support to the eco, Onchain Summer has been taking placing elsewhere - TON and BNB Chains have won the market share.

BNB has always outperformed relative to CT attention

Onchain Summer feels more builder centric, Base's strategy as a whole feels builder centric. I imagine we'll see more consumer-facing growth strategies in the coming months

The bottom line is you need users.  "Build and they will come" is 2017 motto. This cycle is overfilled with infra that nobody ends up using, hence memes as the winning trade.

TON has TG, BNB - Binance. Base - ???
Hence, it's not Base problem per se, it's Coinbase problem. They focus on custody and ETF flows, not on supporting community projects like FP or Higher. idk if that will change in the near term
