even though i’m open and vocal with my own criticism, i think the community here expends far too much energy on short-term concerns i think that: 1) Merkle should formalize feedback collection so we can have organized and long-lived public discussions on these topics 2) the community should take more ownership over the things we can control instead of just complaining (i intentionally didn’t put this in /warpcast because Farcaster belongs to all of us 🫡)

I like the simplicity and how these features battles spam/bots effectively. Channels will require more work from moderators, but they also feel more like communities. I can see inviting people to 'my channels' instead of inviting them to Farcaster. If you have my @hypersub subscription I'll invite you to my channels once these features roll out /kaloh /onchain-charts

I used to feel very free on Farcaster because it was just internet friends. Now that I know so many of you in real life I have the same anxiety about posting as with the other apps

It is just so much *nicer* over here on Farcaster than on Twitter. The vibe is so different when I'm scrolling here vs over there.

Let me get this right: 1. Everyone complains that the algorithm is not promoting their content. 2. No one is complaining that they can't find good content on Farcaster, which means the algorithm works well. I hope you combine 1+2.

I wonder why no one has created ETH without 95% of the volatility. Tranch the volatility into other token and the stability into another. No centralized issuance needed, all onchain.
