Until you see one of these IRL, you have no idea. Kehinde has made a few of the great paintings of our time. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kehinde_Wiley This is in the Rubbel in Miami. It's shockingly large and absolutely stunning.

I saw some Wileys up close in Boston MFA. Extremely powerful. One was in a room full of Sargents, and it was amazing to see a contemporary portrait master juxtaposed with a canonical great.
