🍿The series Orb: On the Movements of the Earth, originally titled Chi: Chikyū no Undō ni Tsuite, is an anime adaptation of the manga by Uoto. This story unfolds in 15th century , a time when the heliocentric view of the universe was considered heretical. The central character, Rafal, is a young prodigy encouraged to pursue theology, but his life changes upon meeting a mysterious scholar who introduces him to the radical idea that the Earth might revolve around the Sun. This sparks Rafal’s journey to explore the “truth” against a backdrop of strict religious doctrine, societal expectations, and the dangers of heresy.
