The worst thing a project or team can do in this space is to dampen the spirits of their community’s biggest supporters If the loudest and most vocal supporters suddenly don’t feel empowered to evangelize a project or they feel like it’s not worth their time, then imagine how the average user feels Seen many projects blow up this way and never return - teams should be thankful to have such fans

The nuanced take I have on this is the alignment of expectations for most web3 projects they first kick off is sky high (and alot are for reasons to overmarket it to draw eyeballs, attention, hype etc) - and while everyone is happy while price goes up (Even for vaporware which is like most of them), the inevitable disappointment comes when the price comes down and that is where a lot of the sillier stuff happens, unfortunately alot of the leadership and communication weaknesses of the team are only exposed then and there goes the support of the strongest community members. I haven´t really seen that many project (NFT, Dapps) done it well through the cycle.
