Honest question: How can this guy be stopped?

How do you stop a man with

- half a trillion dollars.
- his own satellite internet network, capable of starting and ending wars.
- his own rockets and satellites. 
- himself a media behemoth - “I am the media now” he means to say, not X - with access to hundreds of millions of people every day, 
- with full control of the world’s most powerful country’s president and even more…

…how do you stop such a force from disrupting your political process as a country? 

Has the world ever seen a more powerful - supposedly private citizen?

Full control of the president is pushing it...I would say, "has large amount of influence on the president". However any day their egos could clash and that could change, Trump is a lot of things but I don't see him letting anyone control him. I agree he would be hard to stop, it's too much power for one man to have, that much power would corrupt anyone it's human nature.

That's why we shouldn't have huge governments that have tentacles reaching into every single aspect of our life, it's too much power in one place as demonstrated by the amount of power Elon has gained by simply positioning himself near the president.
