Standard Notes no longer accepts crypto payments as a direct result of this merger which sucks. I want to use XMR or bitcoin not Paypal or a debit card. With simple login and standard notes both now under Proton, it feels like the privacy space is becoming very centralized. It's too much trust in one company.

I think you can pay for protonmail with crypto.

I want privacy and the freedom to do what I want, when I want, and where I want as long as I am harming no one. Why is that so much to ask?

That's cool, but you can't pay for standard notes with crypto at the moment and it is a direct result of the acquisition according to customer service. I imagine they will probably add  some crypto payments back at some point, but I have a feeling they will not allow Monero payments again.
