Trump says he doesn't want a CBDC. Stablecoin regulation that's supposed to be a "win" for crypto will possibly turn USDT and USDC into de facto CBDCs and harm decentralized alternative stablecoins. If he and Republicans actually want to be serious about financial privacy and freedom they can start with repealing the Bank Secrecy Act.
