They are "temporarily" dropping the threshold for reporting cash transactions from 10,000 to 200 in 30 zip codes across Texas and California. That's a pretty extreme move from 10,000 to 200, without legislation! They say it is to target drug cartels laundering money. If the state really cared about cutting off the cartels, they would legalize drugs.
